Just today I was merging onto I95. Checked my corners, checked my blind spots, all the way down the ramp. All clear - nobody ahead, nobody behind, nobody beside.

I merge onto I95, look behind me, oh hey there’s a RED ESCAPE RIDING MY BUMPER THAT WASN’T THERE BEFORE. I was legitimately frightened that they were going to slam into me, so I put my foot to the floor and made space as fast as possible.

Keep your damn space, people! Honk at me if I’m close! I don’t want to hit anyone or anything, and if I don’t notice you, you have the right to honk at me and get my attention!
